Position
JOB TITLE: Project Manager, Business Development Baby Dior and Maison Dior
REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President, of Retail Training & Business Development Baby Dior and Maison Dior
JOB PURPOSE:
The Project Manager will support the business unit in developing and implementing new business strategies for Baby Dior and Maison Dior for Dior Americas
Profile
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Strategic Initiatives: Provides input into and complete activities (e.g., cross-category research, retail analysis, marketing research) in support of tactical plans to improve business performance for Baby Dior and Maison Dior
- Take lead of new business-related projects and ensure execution and final delivery of project product (Pop-ups/ pop-ins, product launches, and marketing events)
- Research and Analysis: Complete analyses that inform business decisions (e.g., segmentation, return on investment/customer growth, conversion and profitability).
- Network competition benchmarking: keep track of competition network, evolution and performance including Dept Store Opportunities to develop (Saks/Holt/NM,…)
- Develop and maintain yearly sales planning across all channels of respective categories to ensure alignment with BU targets
- Events: Partner with PR & Events team to identify best markets for Baby & Maison events throughout the year to support awareness and growth of both categories throughout Americas
- CRM focus / Client data: partner with CRM to provide monthly tracker update and ad-hoc analysis to support business, as well as pushes to better integrate Baby & Maison into clienteling initiatives, build client journey into the category and corresponding actions
- E-commerce: partner with digital team to improve platform and client experience, implement new guidelines from Paris
- Management of Existing Network / Architecture: Keep updated database of existing stores: photos, floor plan, sq footage data. Minor work/retrofit planning and follow-up. Productivity reporting
- Ensure VM follow up on animations, updates (new props, background, external windows...).
- New store opening management
- Develop and executive business reviews for senior management to present business strategies and developments
Additional information
Requirements:
- Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- Ability to accurately distinguish which issues, dependencies, and risks are critical, demonstrate flexibility when prioritizing those issues
- Superior analytical capabilities with large quantities of data
- Strong time leadership skills and prioritization with the ability to work under specific timelines and fast-paced environments
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Macros, V-lookups, pivot tables, sum Ifs, page protection, etc.)
- Comfortable working autonomously and independently
- Excellent social skills
