Position summary*
As the Project Manager for PK Industrial, you will lead each project every step of the way, guiding the project from conception to completion. Projects may include several Industrial Soft Crafts, including, Insulation, Scaffolding and Coatings.
Responsibilities
- Implement project controls and scheduling to mitigate risks and deliver projects in a safe, timely, and profitable manner.
- Partner with quality control, and management personnel to develop and implement processes that optimize the flow and use of material, machine, and human resources.
- Set your team up for success by coordinating with other team members and the customer to create a detailed project plan.
- Direct operations to attain daily and strategic goals for production capacity, capability, quality standards, and compliant documentation.
- Drive the execution of the project plan while balancing customer requirements and desires. This requires challenging all members of the construction team to identify issues, implement robust solutions, and achieve excellence.
- Clearly communicate plans and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal stakeholders to various customer contacts.
Job Requirements
- EXPERIENCE: 5+ years’ experience in cost estimating and Project Management, or related, delivering highly successful results.
- ADAPTIBILITY: Proven ability to adapt and manage multiple projects ranging in size, simultaneously.
- COMMUNICATION: Strong (oral and written), customer and organizing communication skills.
- CUSTOMER RELATIONS: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers for project communication, and to further develop business.
- Minimum High School degree or equivalent.
- Must be proficient in the use of computer in the following areas: Microsoft Office Suite, accounting, spreadsheets, and data base management.
- Possess or able to obtain a TWIC card and must be able to pass other periodic background checks at clearance level designated by client facilities.
What will make you stand out?
- Trade School, Associates or Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in construction management.
- Personal knowledge and expertise in the Soft Craft Industry (Insulation, Coatings, Scaffolding) is a plus.
- Prior leadership experience in a quality assurance field.
- NACE level 1
- 30-HR OSHA
