Quality Control Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Provides Quality Control over Preventive and Demand Facilities Maintenance Services for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) . Facilities range across multiple states, but the Central office is location is in Homestead, FL. (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Etc.)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the quality of the work, and for drafting and monitoring the Quality Control Plan. The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for providing the Government with compliant supplies and services and working with the Government regarding it's administration of its Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan.

Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and oversight.

Provide information, advice and recommendations to solve problems and address facility related concerns.

Work with contract management to ensure preventive maintenance is performed on all facilities equipment, site infrastructure and support facilities in compliance with site requirements.

Communicate operational guidelines to staff so that information is disseminated uniformly in a manner that promotes understanding and compliance.

Maintains adherence to company safety policies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• The QC Manager must have, at a minimum, five (5) years of experience with contracts or projects valued at 2 Million annually, and in leadership positions including management of quality control inspectors.
• Preferably candidates will possess a 6 Sigma Green certification or an ISO 9001 certification.
• Have excellent organization skills and be capable of working in a fast paced, changing priority work environment

Salary Range $60-$75K plus benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
