Markin Tubing is a leading manufacturer serving worldwide markets with welded steel tubing, headquartered in Western New York. We are recruiting for Quality Coordinator in our Wyoming, NY facility.

The Quality Coordinator maintains controlled documents in accordance with IATF-16949 requirements for the company. Performs engineering, analysis, and problem-solving services. Conducts professional and technical communications. Ensures customer requirements are addressed.

Position responsibilities:

• Maintain the document control system and records management (electronic and paper)
• Assists Process Owners with documentation revisions, updates, and reviews
• Supports related documentation matters such as updates to PFMEA's, Corrective Actions, and Continual Improvement projects
• Conducts and assists QM with coordinating internal auditing. Competent in Product and Manufacturing Process Audits
• Resolve product and or applications problems utilizing structured problem-solving methods and completion of 8D reports
• Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams to determine root cause and appropriate corrective actions for internal and external failures
• Supports other quality department activities such as lab reports, PPAPs, and customer satisfaction communications as required
• Other duties as assigned

Essential skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• Prior experience with ISO and IATF standards
• Customer service experience essential
• Prior experience in a manufacturing organization
• Knowledge of AIAG Core Tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; Excel, Word, Access, Visio, Outlook and Power Point
• Knowledge and experience with disciplined problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation and a strong sense of urgency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
