Description:

Key Responsibilities:

o Owns CMM programming for in house and supplier manufactured products and assists to conduct necessary quality inspections using proper equipment and techniques

o Owns QMS system software (QT9) data entry and development related to Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA), Internal and supplier Non-Conformance (NCP), Inspection Plans, and Calibration Records to maintain accurate documentation

o Assists in maintaining data integrity of ERP (Epicor) Quality Assurance Module records

o Monitors production processing via random QA audits

o Assists with internal ISO audit related activities

o Assist with training and instruction for production operators in QA measuring procedures

o Assist with training of quality control inspectors

o Other duties as required by quality management

Analysis Responsibilities:

o Assist with problem solving – root cause analysis – corrective actions.

Work Management Responsibilities:

o Point person for assurance of data integrity related to quality records.

Other Responsibilities:

o Supports ISO audit process by becoming a certified ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor and prepares reports from NCP and CAPA data for external audit process.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in quality assurance / quality control role in precision manufacturing environment or equivalent QA Certifications of XXXX

• CMM programming experience or equivalent experience through certifications
• Deep knowledge of quality lab inspection equipment such as optical comparator, micrometers, calipers, gage blocks, bore gages etc..
• Strong ability to work with minimum to no supervision
• Advanced blue print reading and GD&T interpretation skills
• Basic shop math
• Ability to follow verbal work instructions and adhere to written procedures

Quality Inspector to do 1st piece inspection.

Working with calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM operating . CMM programming preferred .

Will mostly be working with a surface comparator. This is a must have.

applicant needs to be able to measure the part to print using the following equipment, Gage Blocks, Bore Gages, Indicating micrometer, Height Master, Indicators, Digital height gage, Angle plates, v-blocks, sine plate, micrometers and calipers. Should have knowledge of Geometric tolerancing and Trig.
