POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for performing, scans, positions and transferring patients as required. Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level. Provides information to the patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from clinical services. Conveys a positive image of the clinic. Candidate should be a team player
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Performs all scans for the department.
- Positions and transfers patients as required.
- Provides patient education and responses to questions of exam being performed.
- Select proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
- Practices sterile techniques as required and observes all rules and regulations pertaining to safe and proper operation of the department.
- Prepares and maintains record of examinations and other pertinent information on patients. Responsible for maintaining equipment in proper working order and for order/maintaining necessary supplies.
- As schedules permit, perform other duties as requested to assist in overall operation of the clinic and the efficient handling and scheduling of the patients through the clinic.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness, and maintains stocked supplies.
- Cooperates with all personnel in proper conduct.
- CPR certification maintained.
- Practices sterile techniques as required and observes all rules and regulations pertaining to the safe and proper operation of the department.
- Prepares and maintains records of examinations and other pertinent information on the patients.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment in working order and for order/maintaining necessary supplies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiology Technologist program and fully registered in accordance with the laws of the state.
- Must have and maintain the following certifications CPR/BLS and ARRT
- Must be licensed in the State of Ohio.
- Maintains any other certification as required by the medical community.
- Skills:
RT Technologist
Years of Experience:
Minimum of one year experience in a medical practice. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work with physicians, patients, and employees at all levels. Must have the capacity to relate to people in a manner to win confidence and establish support.
- Education: Certified RT
- Years of Experience: Minimum One year
- Certifications: GMXO or ISCD
