The Professional Group is Seeking Ramp-Baggage Agent to join us for our client LATAM Group, located in the JFK Airport - New York City.

This role will perform various duties, including:

• Coordinate with other airlines baggage search of passengers in transit ramp.
• Maintain control and quadrature luggage local and in transit.
• Tracing baggage according to bagroom planification.
• Inform the Chief Supervisor Transfer Station and heads of non-receipt on baggage, their causes in order to track them.
• Management reporting purposes.
• Perform planning worksheet for bagroom luggage.
• Comply with all safety standards in all sectors of the ramp as the writing of the airport authorities and the manuals written in LATAM.
• Perform other activities of similar nature according to the needs of the department.
• Identify if there is any baggage in the TSA area , Oversized area or another MU
• Strong communication skills and ability to work In a team with both internal or external

Requirements:

• Spanish / English
• Computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Knowledge in sabre and Amadeus Flexible Schedules
• Where applicable, must be able to secure appropriate authority required to obtain and maintain United States Customs Clearance and Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badges

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
