Overview
The DWS USA Capital & Liquidity Management team is looking to expand its US capital stress testing and financial forecasting capabilities, and seeking a Regional Finance Manager to join the team in New York. This role will be responsible for executing and implementing balance sheet, revenue, and expense projection models, and coordinating, enhancing and automating stress testing processes, as part of the firm’s regulatory and internal capital forecasting and stress testing programs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Execute and implement projections of balance sheet, revenue, and expense models and validate results. Discuss and challenge stakeholders on model results and apply model overlays as required.
Provide ad hoc analysis and semi-annual stress testing MIS reports for the DWS CFO Americas, Head of US Capital & Liquidity Management and Stress Testing, other members of senior management, various governance groups, and U.S. Board of Directors.
Remediate discrepancies between regulatory financial reports, the Capital Plan and DWS USA's internal projections platform, as required.
Obtain necessary signoffs and certifications on model and regulatory data, the Capital Plan and aggregated stress results.
Support new and ongoing process improvement efforts, user acceptance testing on various platforms and leverage new reporting tools to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Assist in the facilitation of the risk control assessment by aligning it to key operating procedures and the run book maintained by team. Lead training sessions and run-book meetings, as needed.
Monitor entity capital ratios, risk-weighted assets, and balance sheet usage against entity limits and produce management reporting packages. Lead council discussions on these ratios and limits and highlight movements in relevant early-warning indicators.
Maintain written narrative sections of the firm's Capital Plan including supporting documentation for the annual submission to senior management, internal audit, and the Federal Reserve.
Support Federal Reserve and internal audit requests, as requested.

Your Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, MBA or equivalent a plus
- 4-6 years of experience in capital management, treasury and finance reporting
- Prior knowledge of regulatory reporting, capital stress testing and/or asset management, a plus
- Strong academic performance and understanding of basic banking and capital markets concepts
- Proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office products
- Strong analytical abilities
- Prior accounting, US GAAP knowledge a plus
- Ability to prepare high quality financial analysis to support senior management
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure while overseeing multiple tasks

Expectations

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000-$175,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
