ElringKlinger is looking for a

Regional HR Analyst

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

This new position supports the Director of HR for the Americas in a broad area of HR topics for our locations in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Brazil. You will be working on exciting strategic and operational tasks in areas such as:

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Conducting market analysis of positions' compensation.
  • Participating in performance management or salary increase processes.
  • Supporting in the administration of employee health and 401(k) savings plans.
  • Monitoring and analyzing current benefits trends and applicable legislation.
  • Supporting staff on secondments (expats, inpats) in collaboration with the Global Mobility Team.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Conducting external and internal hiring.
  • Supporting the definition and tracking of recruiting metrics.
  • Providing counsel and guidance to hiring managers and HR professionals in other locations with hiring and employment data.
  • Planning employment events, such as career fairs
  • Supporting the establishment of an “employer of choice” reputation.

Training and Development:

  • Adapting our global leadership and development programs to regional/local needs and organizing them.
  • Staying abreast of latest developments in management, leadership, and organizational development.
  • Supporting the global succession planning and talent review processes.

HR Controlling and Analytics:

  • Collecting and analyzing internal and external data (KPIs) for various types of business reports.
  • Building reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards using multiple data sources.
  • Assisting in the HR planning process.

HR Generalist Tasks:

  • Collaborating with other HR professionals and cross-functional team members to develop and improve HR processes and programs in the region.
  • Consulting with managers on people matters that require knowledge of policies, procedures and local legislation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Two to four years of experience in at least two of the above listed areas
  • Passion for Human Resources topics and eagerness to learn.
  • Intercultural sensibility, Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to manage small to medium projects independently while balancing daily tasks.
  • Strong computer skills, experience in Workday is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
