Regional Sales Executive, Chemicals (Homecare/ Personal Care/ FMCG)
Job description
- Basic Up to $5600 + Transport Allowance $1000 + AWS + Sales Bonus
- Regional Sales role covering ASEAN, India, ANZ
- Business travel opportunities 20 - 30% annually
- Candidates with Homecare/ Personal Care/ FMCG experiences preferred
- Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering degree
- Candidates with proven project management experience are a bonus as the incumbent will be involved in the strategy roadmap exercise
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, familiar with a cross-functional team environment
Reponsbilitibies:
- Manage and handle customers directly in a defined territory to contribute to the overall profitability and revenue of the business unit.
- Identify unmet market opportunities, and provide market feedback and direction to relevant teams regarding new products, new data, and new application opportunities.
- Assist with strategy creation, analyze market trends, and competitor activities, and develop key account plans to support the regional sales team
- To determine, identify and develop data necessary for the development of business, including background, technical, formulation, and other marketing data.
- To resolve a wide range of problems, from simple to complex, encountered during the development process that could prevent projects from going ahead. Problems are solved both individually and in a team environment.
- To communicate with a wide range of individuals both internally and externally to ensure that projects are commercialized or otherwise fully investigated before the decision to terminate them is taken.
- Attend and participate in specific conferences/exhibitions. Occasional overseas travel required.
Requirements:
- Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering degree
- Candidates with Homecare/ Personal Care/ FMCG experiences preferred
- Candidates with proven project management experience are a bonus as the incumbent will be involved in the strategy roadmap exercise
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, familiar with a cross-functional team environment
- Good planning and organization skills to manage a full and varied workload.
- Customer-facing and account handling experience required.
- Good interpersonal skills and written skills.
- Good knowledge of chemistry and understanding of the chemical manufacturing industry.
