C & B Equipment has an opening for a Regional Sales Manager covering it's Material Handling locations in West Virginia and Virginia. This position directs the sales team in regards to strategy, long-term planning, and sales processes. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all sales metrics and budgets as well as leads the region in attracting, retaining, and coaching sales personnel. Jefferds Corporation and Homestead Material Handling are in the process of becoming part of the material handling division of C & B so you will get the opportunity to be part of a larger team and experience the exciting growth that will occur in this division.
A Regional Sales Manager at C & B:
- Leads the development and deployment of a comprehensive sales strategy and long-term plans which integrate the business’ values, mission, resources, and goals;
- Develops, communicates, enforces, and monitors effective Sales Department processes across all locations to ensure consistent internal and external customer satisfaction as well as Sales Department efficiencies;
- Develops and creates incentive plans for the sales team and customers;
- Set New Unit, Used Revenue, Rental Revenue and Allied Product Revenue goals with your team for your region and track them;
- Learn, experience, and education your team and peers on product, financing, & customer knowledge.
- Defines the strategy for used and new equipment sales;
- Implements a customer relationship process that will achieve and maintain company loyalty;
- Ensures appropriate communication with customers, sales staff, and other departments;
- Directs and advises recruiting, staffing and employee development efforts for the Sales Department;
- Hold weekly team huddles with your sales team

Experience
Required
- This position requires the ability to travel. Ability to drive a company vehicle, including being insurable by the company's insurance company is required.
- 5 year(s): Sales management experience, preferably in material handling
- Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group.
- Familiar with a wide variety of material handling equipment
- Proven ability to lead and inspire others.
- Excellent understanding of financial principles relative to Sales Department operations.
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
Education
Preferred
- Bachelors or better

- Valid Drivers License
