The Wühr laboratory in the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics seeks applicants for a summer temporary hourly research assistant position of approximately 30-40 hours/week. The Wühr laboratory develops and employs quantitative proteomics methods to obtain a systems level understanding of cellular organization.
The expected timeframe of this position is June through August 2023. Review of applications will begin immediately. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities will include:
Participation in execution of proteomic experiments, imaging, and data analysis.
Participation in group meetings.
Other lab duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualifications/skills:
Laboratory research experience including proteomic experiments, imaging, and quantitative proteomics data analysis.
Experience with frog and fly embryos.
Experience in mass spectrometry.
Strong attention to detail and meticulous lab notebook keeping.
