Job Responsibilities:
- Assist and support Principal Investigators(PI) in their clinical research activities (starting from study start-up till study end including study closure activities) such as:Recruit patients in the clinic and assist in screening, recruitment and consent taking of participants;
- Assist in the development and conduct of AI-related clinical research study;
- Manage research data (e.g. data entry and data cleaning) and ethics/legal compliance;
- Liaise with relevant internal and external agencies during the course of work;
- Monitor the financial aspects of the assigned study and advise the PI and Dept Admin team;
- Ensure timely submission of progress report to the relevant agencies and authorities and renewal of IRB and CTC approvals;
- Perform literature review and assist in writing research papers for publication and conference presentation.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements for RA:
- Relevant Diploma in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent;
- Working experience in academic or clinical research would be advantageous;
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and Outlook;
- Knowledge in at least one statistical software (e.g. SPSS) is preferred;
- Knowledge in programming or scripting language (e.g. Python, R, C++, Java) preferred;
- Knowledge in research ethics and preferably completed the CITI;
- Good written and oral communication skills;
- Team-oriented with strong coordination and organisational skills;
- Able to work independently and comfortable to multi-task / handle a few projects concurrently.
