RESEARCH TECHNICIAN (AD#1188) – Loma Linda, CA.

SALARY RANGE: $17.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Part-Time, 16 hours per week, Research Technician position in molecular and cell biology research. The incumbent performs basic research using standard recombinant DNA techniques, cell culture, animal handling and breeding, histology and X-ray imaging to identify the biochemical processes associated with tissue healing, regeneration and osteoarthritis. This position requires skills, knowledge and experience in basic molecular biology, immunohistochemistry staining and some understanding of cell culture. Knowledge of Word and Excel computer software for procedures, DNA and protein database manipulation is preferred.

Education: Must have a BS or MS degree in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics or a related field. At least one year of experience in a research laboratory setting.

Requirement: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents authorized to work in the U.S.
