ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand and maintain the basic process and chemistry knowledge of resin production systems
• Understand and maintain knowledge of the hazards inherent to the resin process and area.
• Understand and maintain knowledge of how to operate the automated production systems in the resin area.

• load and process cathodic base resin
• load and process intermediate resin batches
• load and process intermediate mixes
• load and process acrylic and clear resins
• load and process cathodic intermediate resins
• load and process Waterborne base resins in
• sample reactors and feed tanks
• filter and sample resins and intermediates made in reactors
• clean and rebuild filter presses

• run the cathodic stripper

• operate Power Equipment (i.e. transtackers, Transporters and Hilo truck)

• perform material consumptions & package production transactions

• perform SAP transactions

• participate in daily housekeeping clean-up.

• Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• Required: 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Required: Satisfactorily complete - word comprehension, mathematics, mechanical aptitude test - after onsite interview.
• Required: Need to be clean shaven at the start of employment to be safety fit testing

• Preferred: Experience in working with high level safety standards environment
• Preferred: Experience in chemical production, raw materials ( Extensive Training Process for competency and quality)
• Preferred: 2 or more years experience and resin experience a plus
