Retail Administrative Support

Job Summary:
Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions
Education/Experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Entry level to 2 years experience required.
Top 3 skillsets:
1. Data entry
2. Excel = Basic knowledge
3. Verbal and written communication skills
Skills and Competencies:
- Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Administrative - Stay on top of open orders.
- Call Customers to p/u orders. Advise that if not p/u, orders will close.
- Follow up on quotes.
- Customer Services - Float between counter and phones.
Any warehouse work? - cross training highly encouraged. Possibility depending on where the need is. Forklift not required but training can be provided.
- Constant traffic.
- Will be assisting with customers and phones.
- More programs involved * Hvac not necessary * Needs to be a problem solver
- Call/text volume: 75-90 phone calls/# of texts unknown but high volume
- Won't set an expectation of the candidate until they know what they are capable of
- Hands On Technology? RF Gun (won't used to often) – (this are common at: Lowes, Home Depot, Auto Parts stores, Target)
