The Insurance Compliance Analyst will provide risk management support and control to the Operations Managers and Project Teams. This position will assist in identifying subcontractor insurance compliance issues as they relate to contract requirements. This position must demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills; have strong communication and client service skills, as well as knowledge of insurance as it relates to the construction industry.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide operational support to Project Team in reviewing subcontractor insurance documentation and corresponding with insurance industry to bring insurance into compliance with contract requirements;
- Communicating with Project Teams and/or Operations on a routine basis;
- Assist with training Project Teams on compliance of corporate policies and procedures as they relate to Insurance for projects utilizing standard insurance procurement on non-CCIP/OCIP projects;
- Become familiar with state laws as they relate to insurance;
- Maintain Insurance and Prequalification status in Prolog;
- Participate in monthly team conference meetings;
- Attend annual group meetings and/or travel to other offices from time to time when necessary;
- Participate in regular training sessions to become subject matter expert and to keep up to date with compliance issues in the industry;
- From time to time, cover other team members’ regions when that person is out of office;
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
We’re Looking For:
- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products, Prolog and SharePoint;
- Broad understanding of industry;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Functions effectively as part of a team;
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- 3+ years related experience in the insurance and/or construction industry required;
- High School Diploma required;
