Job Summary

The impact you’ll make

When a guest walks into our hotel- we want them to thoroughly enjoy their stay from the beginning to the end of their stay. This is why we are looking a wonderful addition to our Fairfield Inn & Suites housekeeping team who can help in making our customers feel welcome, happy, and comfortable.

What you’ll do

• The position is responsible for cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
• Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
• Supplies cleaning cart with appropriate supplies for shift
• Follows the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemical products
• Make beds and fold sheets
• Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items
• Greet guests and take care of requests
• Straighten desk items, furniture and appliances
• Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings
• Vacuum carpets and floor care duties
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Labor Requirements

• Standing, sitting, walking, squatting, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, reaching over head, pushing, pulling, etc.
• Must be able to physically lift, push or pull 20-50 lbs. consistently without assistance.
• Candidates must be able to tolerate cleaning and other chemicals daily.
• Also, the position may have exposure to allergens such as peanuts, chemicals etc.

Job qualifications

• Education: High-school (Preferred but not required)
• Experience: Previous housekeeping role for 2 years (Preferred but not required)
• Licenses/Certifications: N/A
