Health and IT Solutions of the Leidos Health Group is seeking an engineer who will work as a productive member of a team that supports collaborations and process/data/program management for the All of Us Research Program in Bethesda, MD. As part of that work, we support a SaaS environment, currently centered on Atlassian products, but ready to expand into other areas. We are looking for someone to help us manage these services including selecting, configuring, installing, and otherwise managing applications and their extensions.

In this role you will be responsible for managing various SaaS products like Crowd, Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket. You also will be administering other software products and tools.

Your Role:

• Install, configure, and maintain various tools such as Crowd, Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket.

• Migrate incidents and workflows from multiple existing tools to Jira.

• Collaborate with quality assurance, technical teams, and management to implement systems features that enable Agile software delivery.

• Recommend and design standard and custom Jira workflows.

• Install, manage, and support various development tools, testing tools and monitoring tools.

• Plan, evaluate, deploy, operate, and maintain tools to suit the expanding user-base.

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and fix issues related to development, applications, and application servers.

• Adhere to industry best practices, processes, and metrics standards.

• Document standards, guidelines, and standard operating procedures for admins/users of the system.

• Set access permissions for Jira, GitHub. etc. projects spaces.

Qualifications/Skills Needed:

• Detailed experience with Jira filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, and Jira administration.

• Ability to construct custom dashboards using various filter types in Jira.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.

• Three (3) years of experience implementing, supporting, and administering Jira.

• Two (2) years of experience implementing, supporting, and administering Confluence.

Other Important Qualifications:

• Project management experience is also important to us, so it will be helpful if you also have at least 2 years’ formal experience with process, program, or project management experience.

• If you have experience with support of the design and execution of supporting biomedical studies, that would also be very helpful.

PLEASE NOTE: The salary range for this position is $98,000-$108,000; higher salary range will depend on having significant appropriate experience.
