Overview:WATCH GUARD 24/7 is one of the fastest growing security providers in the NY area and are looking for qualified Security guards to join our team in school safety.

Location : Fordham / Bronx

Responsibilities:Officer's responsibilities will generally include, but not be limited to:

• Serving predominantly as front entrance security presence and maintaining high visibility
• Monitoring premises as directed by Principal
• Securing identification and managing the signing-in and out of visitors
• Assisting visitors with directions
• Reporting any facility issues to Principal
• Patrolling and monitoring school indoor and outdoor facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff and the security of the facility
• Assisting as needed with general supervision in the breakfast and lunch periods as well as in morning arrival and afternoon dismissal of students
• Reporting any disciplinary infractions, unauthorized visitors, and acts of vandalism to the Principal
• Notifying the Principal of any emergency, potentially dangerous, or unusual situations and assisting where appropriate
• Promoting student responsibility for behavior and attitude by serving as a role model and complying with appropriate dress code
• Displaying ethical and professional behavior in working with students, parents, school personnel, and outside agencies associated with the school
• Adhering to Client policies, procedures, and rules
• Performing any duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment, as assigned by their supervisor, and not otherwise prohibited by law or regulation

Qualifications:MUST HAVE VALID NYS SECURITY GUARD LICENSE

• Good judgment, Integrity and character
• Must be able to obtain W-07 Fireguard before beginning employment, CPR training
