Position Title: Security Officer

Schedule:
-8:30am-4:30pm, Saturday & Sunday
-This position also covers the same hours on any official firm-recognized holiday.

Jones Networking is recruiting for a Security Officer to join the Washington, DC office of a global Law Firm. This part time weekend opportunity offers flexibility as well as the opportunity for growth and advancement!

Security Officer Position Description:
-Ensure staff, employees, clients and property are protected.
-Conduct safety and security patrols.
-Provide escorts to parking facilities and Metro stops for employees working after hours.
-Maintain daily security log for after-hour security operations.
-Ensure proper distribution of security reports.
-Duplicate keys as necessary.
-Issue visitor passes.
-Distribute parking passes.
-Conduct security brief for new arrivals.

Security Officer Qualifications Summary:
-Associates Degree from an accredited college or graduate of a recognized law enforcement academy preferred.
-Must maintain qualifications as a Special Police Officer when hired.
-Minimum two years security / law enforcement experience (college credits may be substituted to satisfy this requirement).
-Certified in CPR and First Aid by a recognized Association desired.
-Emergency Medical Technician Certification a plus or must be obtained within one year of employment.
-Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel to generate security reports.
-High level of diplomacy, confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
