The Capital One Business Team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst who will drive creation and scaling of our Cards & Users experiences.

As a Senior Business Analyst at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. You will team with world-class professionals to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the bottom line. General Areas of Responsibility:
Explore and analyze user experience and product performance data, developing deep analytical insights around product usability and the end-to-end experience. Make business recommendations backed by data to influence change.
Own the development of analytic tools, reports, and dashboards to monitor ongoing product performance. Conduct deep dive analysis to develop product offering subject matter expertise.
Partner with Marketing and Brand to monitor in-market campaigns, ideate on creative marketing opportunities, and develop marketing A/B testing opportunities
Partner with a cross-discipline team to identify opportunities to improve our products based on customer feedback and quantify the impact of qualitative insights.
Build strategic partnerships, manage communications, and maintain alignment with cross-discipline teams to identify opportunities to improve our products based on customer feedback and quantify the impact of qualitative insights.
Partner across the Cards & Users team to find strategic synergies and drive incremental positive value.
Qualities and characteristics to be successful in this role:
Strategic & Analytic Orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation, given that a large part of the business is based on rigorous analytic marketing & credit risk management

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
- At least 1 year of experience in analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
- 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building
- 1+ years of experience in market research
- 1+ years of experience in SQL querying
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis
- 1+ years of experience in consulting

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Location is New York City: $112,400 - $128,300 for Sr. Business AnalystCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
