Job Summary

Due to our growth, we need to add a Senior Buyer to our South Elgin facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for buying electronics components, e.g. resistors, capacitors, ICs, etc. We offer health benefits, 401K, vacation, and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Using information from the Bill of Materials, the Senior Buyer will place orders with approved vendors

· The Senior Buyer will be responsible for following up with vendors to insure on-time delivery

· Negotiate pricing and lead time with vendors that align with the desired purchase order

Qualifications and Skills

· 5 to 10 years of experience buying electronics parts for a contract manufacturer

· Desired direct experience with a contract manufacturer of electronics

· Bachelor of Science degree in related field

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

· Detailed orientated

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Common sense

· Team player

· Hungry to drive results and to learn. Self starter.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
