Evolver is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Risk Analyst to support program operations and teams of IT professionals on a State and Local contract. These positions include all aspects of IT cybersecurity risk management supporting customer critical infrastructure. We will work closely in collaboration with other teams, program managers and client staff to advance support objectives including efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall effectiveness of Cyber readiness and resources.

The staff will work with our clients in the execution of a range of cybersecurity projects including assessments to 24/7 operations.
- A key competency of these positions is the desire and ability to work directly with clients.
- This includes possible travel and frequent communication with both technical and contract personnel.
- Technical understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles is also required.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Committee on National Security Systems Instruction, including NIST SP 800-60, NIST SP 800-53, NIST CSF and CNSSI 1253
- 5 years of experience in Cyber Security in a critical vertical (healthcare, finance, education, State/Local or Federal Government)
- A location anywhere within 45 minutes of a major airport
- Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of equivalent work experience.
- US citizen and able to pass a government background/badging investigation.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in IT consulting.
- 10 years of experience in Cyber Security in a critical vertical (healthcare, finance, education, State/Local or Federal Government)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity or Information Systems or related field. Can be substituted with 8 years equivalent work experience.
- Ability to analyze and communicate complex technical challenges to both technical and non-technical clients and stakeholders.
- Experience cybersecurity related field support with State and Local government customers.
- Great communicator to ensure good leadership, but also enhanced relationship with customer representatives.
- Ability to effectively communicate and integrate between multiple customer stakeholders.
- Must be a critical thinker who is detail-oriented, organized, and can work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills, including high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills with the highest levels of internal and external management.

- CISSP
- Security +
- FAIR
- CISA
- CRISC
- CISM
- CompTIA A+
- Advanced Cloud Certifications from a major provider (Azure, AWS, IBM, Oracle)
- CCNA, Network+
- ITIL Certification
