General Purpose and Scope of Position

The Senior Sourcing Recruiter is responsible for maximizing all sourcing tools and partnerships to build talent pipelines for all Wilbur-Ellis lines of business in North America. The Senior Sourcing Recruiter will play a pivotal role in supporting the enterprise to identify and attract top talent in the labor market. This role will be influential to our hiring managers and People & Culture team by leading critical searches and educating team members in the search efforts.

Key Skills, Abilities, and Requirements

  • 15+ years working in Talent Acquisition
  • Experience working in the agriculture, technology, or chemical industries is preferred
  • Experience creating and executing sourcing strategies to target top candidates
  • Expertise working with applicant tracking systems, preferably UKG (UltiPro), strategic sourcing techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, and various job boards
  • Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and practices
  • Experience partnering with college and professional recruitment offices including alumni
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to self-direct and work successfully in a remote environment
  • Ability to navigate competing priorities and provide exceptional service and results to our internal and external partners
  • Excellent time management and creative problem solver
  • Outstanding customer focus with timely response to inquiries

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong listening skills with demonstrated ability to draw keen insights from conversations
  • Ability to travel if required, no more than 20%. Ability to work some evenings and weekends when needed during tight deadlines

Responsibilities and Key Deliverables

  • Manages the entire recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing top talent
  • Establishes a creative sourcing & recruitment strategy to proactively find and screen quality candidates
  • Manages the candidate experience, solicits feedback, communicates status to candidates and hiring managers
  • Partners cross-functionally on data management, job requisitions/postings, job offers, social media initiatives, advertising, and best practices
  • Partners with hiring managers and across the company to establish and maintain collaborative recruiting communications about potential candidates identified
  • Serves as a talent advisor and consults leaders on effective strategies to achieve talent needs and educate and train on recruiting processes
  • Develops relationships and meets regularly with hiring managers to understand business needs to develop and recommend effective and strategic recruiting strategies
  • Executes a compliant recruiting process with passive candidates, while managing positions and candidates in an applicant-tracking system
  • Reviews and recommends process improvements to ensure our recruitment process is efficient, effective, and proactively meets the needs of the business
  • Leverages effective sourcing strategies to attract active and passive candidates. Uses employee referral, recruiting boards, the internet, social media, and industry and community organizations to build a strong talent pool.
  • Stays abreast of external marketplace/industry trends and shares recommendations for consideration
  • May be involved in other recruitment-based programs, including diversity initiatives, student outreach efforts, college recruiting, manager training opportunities, etc.
  • Develop and maintain influential relationships with internal contacts and external contacts (vocational schools, agencies, colleges, community outreach/development organizations, etc.), projecting a favorable image of the company and its culture
  • Perform special projects as assigned by the Manager
  • Proactively research and evaluate new sourcing and research ideas or methods to create innovative sourcing strategies which meet the Company’s needs and standards
  • Posts jobs on external and internal job boards and social media channels including LinkedIn
  • Conduct reference checks as required

Compensation and Benefits

  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $98,000.00 to $138,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
