Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be part of a team of highly skilled engineers and data scientists to collect, ingest, process, analyze, visualize, and share data in support the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM). The team will be responsible for the assembly of infrastructure within traditional physical server stacks and cloud environment that is scalable, highly available, and adaptable with multiple environments. 1MDTF is tasked with experimenting with new capabilities and integrating it into both new and existing environments with numerous government oriented companies.

Server Administrator in support of Multi-Domain Task Force - Pacific (MDTF-Pacific).
Location: Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.
In this role, you will be part of a team of highly skilled engineers and data scientists to collect, ingest, process, analyze, visualize, and share data in support the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM). The team will be responsible for the assembly of infrastructure within traditional physical server stacks and cloud environment that is scalable, highly available, and adaptable with multiple environments. 1MDTF is tasked with experimenting with new capabilities and integrating it into both new and existing environments with numerous government oriented companies.
Tasks include:
- Responsible for the installation, upgrade, maintenance, configuration, reliability, and security of multiple servers on cloud and physical environments.
- Will participate in research, development and deployment of enhancements to continuously improve and keep up with the operational needs of the MDTF.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7 (Will consider: HS +16 years of experience).
- Must be familiar with the installation, upgrade, maintenance, configuration, reliability, and security of industry Windows enterprise and Linux servers.
- Be able to work with minimal guidance and be versatile in conducting experimentation for new capabilities and integrating them into new and existing environments.
- Requires a qualifying certification for DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
- Must hold an Active TS/SCI Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have experience with Army or Joint servers such as TAK, GCCS, etc.
- Experience performing system requirements analysis, design, and development activities.
- Expertise performing engineering analysis and issue resolution.
- Analyzes and develops CONOPs, system architectures, and requirements.
- Has developed specifications, drawings, and other engineering artifacts.
- Experience supporting process engineering and optimization activities.
