Overview

Are you interested in joining a dynamic team, passionate about making the world a better and more sustainable place? We use elegant technology (Ruby, React, and ReactNative) to build beautiful web and mobile apps that help people understand and manage their water use in real-time. Along the way, we get to explore fascinating time-series datasets, employ machine learning to conserve precious resources, support open source projects, and hang out with some pretty cool people.

What you get to do every day

• Write and review Ruby and Javascript code
• Design, develop and maintain sophisticated APIs, web applications, and native mobile apps
• Operate a cloud-based, multi-tenant customer engagement platform
• Collaborate with clients, users, management, and other engineers on product roadmap, architecture development plans, and program launches
• Help to hire, train and mentor other software engineers

What skills do you need?

• Minimum of 5 years experience developing web or mobile applications
• Experience (or strong interest) in Ruby and Javascript
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Experience in full-stack development – including frontend, backend, database, deployment, and operations – is preferred
• Experience with Amazon AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc) is preferred
