Job Summary:
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will have the critical responsibility of providing direction to the Direct and Indirect sourcing Team, the Global Logistics Team, and the Packaging Team using data driven analysis and reporting. In this role the Senior Supply Chain Analyst will help define the strategic direction for the company as it relates to Supplier Performance and Costs, Productivity, Risk Mitigation, and Cost Optimization. Senior Supply Chain Analyst will develop systematic approaches to reporting in Performance Metrics, and Industry Indicators to improve the effectiveness of the team. Senior Supply Chain Analyst success will have a direct impact on the company’s profitability and performance.

This position will report directly to the Vice President of Global Sourcing / Logistics / Packaging and will work closely with our Directors of the Division as well as our Financial Team.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead the development of the division’s operating metrics.
• Monitors budget performance compared to plan and alerts managers to potential issues.
• Works with Finance partners in preparing quarterly forecasts.
• Assists with the preparation of monthly performance metrics and executive reporting packages.
• Drive decisions by providing analytical support through forecasting, performance metrics, and ad hoc analyses.
• Improve existing processes to accelerate analysis for the proactive identification of business risks and opportunities
• Active member on cross-functional teams by providing the analytical support necessary to add value to the business.
• Identifies process improvement and cost-saving opportunities and recommends appropriate action steps to realize savings.
• Works with Information Technology staff to establish corporate performance reporting mechanisms to track and report key financial metrics.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or equivalent in education and work experience in Data Analytics.

Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Above average computer skills, primarily Excel.
• Proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Oracle E1 JDE helpful.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven track record of challenging the status quo and driving business performance through data analytics
