High growth specialty insurance carrier focused on providing non-standard auto coverage is hiring a Senior Underwriter for their Mesa, AZ operation. They are expanding into multiple states and have an opening on their Mesa based team for a Sr. Underwriter. Once fully trained, they offer a hybrid work schedule.

This role is responsible for underwriting non-standard auto insurance applications and rating them in accordance with company guidelines.

Senior Underwriter responsibilities include:

• Processing renewals, endorsements and cancellations
• Reviewing loss runs and policy information
• Verifying coverage, providing excellent customer service and adhering to local and state regulations

Senior Underwriter Qualifications include:

• A minimum of five years experience underwriting auto insurance in a non-standard environment
• Experience in a multi-state environment in preferred to include IL, IN, AZ and TX
• Strong communication and attention to detail skills
• Experience with Diamond Insurance software is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
