Job Description:
Crowe is seeking a talented Shared Services Delivery Center Contract Manager to join our Shared Services Team. You will perform a range of duties including managing our contracting team to ensure that they are meeting business unit service level agreements, interacting with practice leaders to report on and refine service level requirements, advising practice leaders on opportunities for efficient operation of the contracting process, optimizing processes, identifying training opportunities, identifying reporting requirements, identifying opportunities to streamline data integration and downstream use of data for decision making, assisting in preparation of contracts, providing initial review of contracts when needed, informing contract template opportunities, and ensuring consistent service delivery.
The successful candidate should enjoy managing an environment of continual improvement and should demonstrate excellent attention to detail. Communication skills are critical, as this position will interact with practice leaders in all the business units and the Firm’s Legal department daily.
This position requires minimal travel

Responsibilities will include:
Day-to-day management of the Contracting Team Leads
Work with the Enterprise Contract Management Lead and the Contracting Operations Team to identify enhancements to the Contract Management System
Collaborate with Contracting Team Leads to create consistent processes and training materials
Interact with Legal and Business Unit leaders within the Firm to ensure timely and accurate contract preparation and problem resolution
Manage compliance with Firm and Business Unit-specific contracting policies and processes
Serve as the primary contact within the Shared Services Delivery Center for Contract Management System questions for all Business Units
Ensure the contracting team provides consistent quality data in the Contract Management System
Identify opportunities and provide insights to drive greater efficiencies in the contracting process
Track agreement expiration, identify contracts that need amended, and follow up to ensure amendments are executed timely.
Collaborate with the Contracting Team Leads to manage quarterly reviews of contracts that need purged or archived from the system.
Ensure the contracting team meets or exceeds performance expectations and Business Unit service level agreements.
Expedite the review and execution of contracts
Work with Business Unit Authorized Signers to move contracts through the appropriate workflows.
Collaborate on a regular basis with the Enterprise Contract Management Lead with respect to potential improvements to the Contract Management System, which include without limitation, workflow, reporting, metadata fields, clauses, templates, operational risks, and change management.
Qualifications
Educational and Professional Credentials:
Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field is preferred
Background in contracting, legal terminology, and contract review
Paralegal Certification is preferred
3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in the professional services industry is desired
Experience with Icertis or another Contract Management System is desired

Strong ability to organize assigned workload and multitask to deliver service at required service levels meeting customer service expectations.

Exceptional customer service skills, with an elevated level of professionalism and confidentiality appropriate for a large corporate environment
Ability to prepare reports and provide technical advice
