JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Site Supervisor

• PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
• Under the direction of the Day Program Manager, ensures completion of daily assignments and activities, provides training and support to staff and individuals with disabilities. The Site Supervisor is the designee in the absence of the Program Manager and works under the supervision of the Director of Day Programs.
• PRIMARY SCHEDULE:
• Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm with a 30-minute on duty paid lunch. Days and hours may vary and include evenings, Holidays, and weekends, as needed.
• SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
• Works under the supervision of the Day Program Services Program Manager.
• SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
• Is responsible to supervise staff and individuals with disabilities.
• QUALIFICATIONS:
• Two years’ experience providing direct supervision of individuals in a human services delivery system (preferably working with adults with developmental disabilities) including at least one year in a comparable program.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to supervise staff, clients and coordinate daily scheduled activities.
• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to create and maintain documents using Excel and Word. Overall familiarity with computer programs.
• Ability to be certified in all NVS intervention trainings including ProAct, Behavior Tools, PCM Practitioner Level 1 or 2 (dependent on location).
• Ability to effectively implement Individual Service Plans (ISP).
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work efficiently with others.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Current California driver’s license, with an acceptable DMV printout and insurability, minimum of a 3-year driving history.
• Possess a Commercial License with passenger endorsement.
• Ability to pass a DOJ criminal background check.
• Ability to pass CPR and First Aid course.
• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Follows all procedures, policies, and guidelines of North Valley Services.
• Provides staff training, support, and supervision.
• Supervises and coordinates clients and employees’ daily schedules.
• Performs daily documentation according to program guidelines.
• Checks in client medications, if necessary, and administers client medications daily as needed.
• Ensures quality and regulatory compliance.
• Reviews client reports and timecards.
• Ensures quality and regulatory compliance.
• Performs monthly safety inspections and meetings.
• Ensures compliance with Illness Injury Prevention Program (IIPP).
• Completes incident and accident reports in a timely manner.
• Conducts staff meetings.
• Provides transportation services (buses and/or vans) and assists individuals on and off buses and vans as needed.
• Provides professional, positive communication and appearance while forming relationships with NVS Programs and outside agencies.
• Additional duties as assigned including filling in at other sites or departments as needed.
• PHYSICAL DUTIES:
• May have prolonged sitting.
• May have prolonged use of computer.
• May have prolonged use of phone.
• May have prolonged driving.
• May have prolonged standing.
• May lift up to 30 pounds.
• May assist in lifting clients.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.69 per hour
