We're looking for a Canva-savvy Social Media Manager and Content Creator to join our team!
LOCATION: REMOTE
SCHEDULE: Must be available, accessible, and logged in online from Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST (no holidays, no weekends). Weekly on-camera team meeting required.

REQUIREMENTS:
We need an enthusiastic, efficient, Canva-loving Social Media Manager and Content Creator with skills that include working with Canva and promotional content writing (copywriting).
- Depth of knowledge regarding social media platforms including (but not limited to) Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Tiktok, and Pinterest.
- Attention to detail and self management capabilities. You will be juggling the creation of content, scheduling content, internal communications, and client communications daily. This will require a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks while managing various promotional calendars simultaneously. If you struggle with keeping digital information organized, describe yourself as "not tech savvy", or find yourself constantly playing "catch up" with work-related deadlines, please do not apply.
- Consistent and reliable high-speed internet access.
- Equipment is not provided. Must have your own reliable laptop/computer with audio and video capabilities.
- MUST be proficient in Canva: We need someone who’s familiar with the design AND productivity features within Canva. This includes using pre-made templates, designing high-quality deliverables from scratch, using Canva’s bulk-create feature, magic write, video editing, etc… The more you know about how to use Canva EFFICIENTLY, the better! We do not need someone who’s only good at making pretty content. We need a self-starter who also uses Canva with time-management and client goals in mind. ***Please note that we will be requesting samples of your Canva work before considering you for this position.
- MUST have copywriting experience: Writing engaging content in someone else’s voice is a primary duty for this position, as you will be assisting with the execution and management of various social media campaigns and digital marketing efforts. Our clientele is primarily made up of non-profit organizations, mental health and wellness practices, therapists, wellness professionals, coaches, and educators. We are looking for a Social Media Manager and Content Creator who is familiar with these career fields and can adapt to using their jargon in written content. ***Please note that we will be requesting writing samples before considering you for this position.
- MUST have stellar time-management and communication skills: This is a fast-paced position that will require multi-tasking, working with many browser tabs open simultaneously, juggling promotional calendars, and meeting deadlines with grace. We need someone who takes the initiative to get ahead and stay ahead on projects while communicating effectively with our team and our clients.
- MUST have experience with Hootsuite: You don’t have to be an expert at Hootsuite, but you do need to know the basics. We can teach you the rest.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating and scheduling social media content that aligns with each client's current promotional calendar.
- Communicating with clients via email.
- Managing client promotional calendars.
- Community engagement via Hootsuite.
- Competitor analysis and/or market research to support expanding the client's reach.
- Creating monthly social media analytics reports.
- Designing templates, flyers, and/or banners from scratch (Canva) using the client's preferences and brand guidelines for guidance.
- Weekly team touch-base meeting (1 hour) on camera presence required.
