- State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Senior HS endorsement in social science.
- Dual endorsements in EL and Special Ed preferred.
- Academically prepared to teach multiple courses in the social sciences, especially History, Law and Sociology.
- Demonstrated success with struggling learners.
- Demonstrate a wide variety of instructional methods & practices to meet individual student needs.
- Ability to teach courses at various academic levels.
- Willingness to support building co-curricular activities as a coach or sponsor.
- Commitment to working with an interdisciplinary or integrated team: designing, implementing, and refining curriculum.
- Commitment to working with a coordinated curriculum that targets external assessment in the design and delivery of its content.
