Position Purpose The Software Developer is responsible for providing technical support to all Vibe branch and remote office locations. The Software Developer will maintain branch hardware and work with internal IT staff to resolve network issues and deliver IT solutions.

Essential Duties

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and business units to identify end user requirements and specifications.
• Set up and maintain source code repository.
• Participate in all development aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including, analysis, design, testing, code review, and deployment.
• Perform maintenance for all systems and applications created and maintained by the software development department.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for programs and created systems.
• Analyze and offer alternative solutions to meet requirements and escalating issues.
• Research technical problems and suggest improvements for web applications.
• Other duties may be assigned

Education and/or Experience

• High School graduate: Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 years experience in Software Development
• Microsoft Certifications preferred

Skills/Abilities

• Effective communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
• Knowledge of full life cycle development processes
• Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, NodeJS, SQL, HTML, CSS, Web and Web API's and frameworks
• Experience in object-oriented programming concepts and best practices
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology preferred
• Knowledge of credit union products and services preferred
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks while using strong judgement and decision-making skills
• Ability to raise issues, escalate, and ask questions for efficiency
• Ability to participate in and foster an environment that promotes collaboration, the exchange of information and successful accomplishment of shared goals with business stakeholders, IT service peers, and vendor partners
