The Software Developer will assist the Development team with tasks related to product design, coding, testing for our CS Gold, campus card solution system. This position will work with the team Manager and other Development team members to design code that offers the best user experience and highest standard of quality for this and other products

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collecting and gathering data to analyze and develop our Software to meet and exceed customer needs.
  • Research and apply the latest software design techniques and contribute to the technical design of new solutions.
  • Write object-oriented, clean, and maintainable code
  • Engage as a member of a cross-functional agile team, participating in planning, status reporting, standups, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with object-oriented technologies such as: PHP, React, bootstrap, CSS, HTML or JavaScript
  • 2+ years of experience with an RDBMS database (Oracle or PostgreSQL)
  • General technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, and implementation
  • Good analytical and design skills at single product level
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in cloud-based development environment, AWS desired
  • Ability to learn quickly; and understand how business issues impact overall project plans
  • Understanding of micro-service architecture
  • Occasional travel, usually no more than 3-5 days per month
  • Occasional on-call/after-hours support
  • Experience integrating APIs

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
