- As part of our business expansion, we are seeking one position of Software Engineer for our Singapore office.
- In this role, you will develop data driven AI automation systems and solutions for aquaculture farming.
- Develop Full stack web application development using Java (SpringBoot) and Angular
- Work closely with PO and design team to define feature specifications and build the next generation of products.
- Continuously grow your technical knowledge to drive excellence in engineering
- Build and support a robust scalable infrastructure
- Work collaboratively in an Agile, CI/CD environment
Qualifications
- To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in Computer Science Engineering or any related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in design and development using Java technologies ( SpringBoot , Hibernate, JUnit).
- Comfortable in writing code using Java 8.
- Familiar with reactive programming.
- Deep understanding of clean code principles.
- Deep knowledge of web services standards and related technologies (REST).
- Comfortable working with both SQL (MySQL, MariaDB) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience with Angular application development.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience with public cloud platforms e.g. Azure or AWS.
- Prior working experience with mobile app (Android) is good to have.
- Comfortable with Agile development and Scrum process.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated and proactive.
- Able to work independently on self-assigned tasks.
- Possess good communication skills (English).
