Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate software engineer to join our Developer Enablement team in APAC. This team provides resilient and secure services and environments that are easy to use for internal as well as external developers. It will be your opportunity to work on applications directly impacting millions of users of Autodesk products that have been serving industries such as architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, media, and others.
As a team member, your first role will be to contribute to the development of cloud platform APIs, which are the building blocks for next-generation design apps. You will be part of an agile product team of bright and highly motivated engineers building world-class cloud software applications, services, and platform. You will work in a global organization and collaborate with local and remote colleagues from various disciplines like business, engineering, operations, support, etc.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, administer, and maintain highly available, scalable, reliable and secure API management and monetization platforms

Ensure engineering excellence by incorporating cloud design patterns, cloud testing, security guidelines and industry best practices into the development lifecycle

Employ DevOps practices to automate continuous end-to-end service deployment, infrastructure, and maintenance activities

Collaborate with stakeholders located at multiple geographic regions to understand requirements, understand use cases, and build towards a cohesive technical strategy

Participate in analyzing and evaluating new technologies to support changing business needs, specifically in the areas of API Management, DevOps practices, and automations

Participate in the debugging and troubleshooting of complex technical issues affecting multiple systems to identify root causes, fix errors, and document results, along with implementing preventative measures

Engage in an on-call rotation to support production systems

Mentor, develop and empower engineers while embracing learning as part of your everyday work
Minimum Qualifications
-
Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

2 or more years of experience delivering large scale applications in the cloud

Hands-on software development experience with any programming language along with a good knowledge of software and cloud design patterns

Great team player with great communication skills as well as the ability to work and learn independently

Passionate about designing and realizing highly available, resilient, scalable, and secure platforms

Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

Inquisitive about tools and best practices for automating builds, tests, and deployments in the cloud
