As a member of the agile software development team, you will analyze, design, develop, document, and support complex systems code, including Rest APIs, Micro Services, and translations and user interfaces using modern languages, tools, and techniques. You possess a high degree of technical acumen, strong communication skills, and experience working with various stakeholders to deliver business value by creating timely and effective software solutions.

Your day might include:
  • Creating easily readable and maintainable code
  • Object oriented development (C#, Java)
  • Coding in in JavaScript within a variety of other frameworks
  • Developing highly complex integrations between disparate systems
  • Debugging and repairing complex systems
  • Using design patterns
  • Applying secure coding practices
  • Using build and deployment tools
  • Utilizing testing frameworks
  • Applying testing methodologies like TDD, BDD, etc.
  • Automating ADA testing and automating the execution and reporting of test results
  • Performance tuning
  • Using appropriate development SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Creating clear and concise documentation
  • Conveying technical information to non-technical staff
  • Interpreting and following complex technical requirements
What you bring to the team:
  • Demonstrated accomplishments in innovative technology solutions
For SE II:
  • An Associate of Technical Arts, or Associates of Arts in Science with a concentration in computer programming or completion of IT Bootcamp (Related experience may be substituted, year for year, for academic achievement)
  • Minimum of Three (3) years' of software development experience, including experience in maintaining complex code bases
For SE III:
  • An Associate of Technical Arts, or Associates of Arts in Science with a concentration in computer programming or completion of IT Bootcamp. (Related experience may be substituted, year for year, for academic achievement)
  • Minimum of Five (5) years’ of software development experience, including experience in maintaining complex code bases
Bonus Points if you have:
  • A Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
  • Credit Union or financial services experience
  • Angular experience
  • Experience working in an Agile Team
Competitive Pay for SE II Level: $78,693.28- $118,039.92, annually, DOQ, dependent on applicable qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan
Competitive Pay for SE III Level: $91,582.08 - $137,373.12 annually, DOQ, dependent on applicable qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan

Where we’re located: 330 Union Ave SE Olympia, WA. Employee must reside and perform all work in the state of Washington. This is a work from home/hybrid position with the exception of occasional on-site trainings, meetings and specific organization events.

When you’d work: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with scheduling flexibility required for this full-time, Exempt position
