JOB SUMMARY
The Alexander Technology Group is working with a rapidly growing Software Startup company to identify a 100% remote (US BASED ONLY) Solutions Architect / Technical Software Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a background in software development and 3+ years of presales engineering experience. This Solutions Architect / Technical Software Consultant will be responsible for becoming an expert on their software offerings, providing software demo's, interfacing with clients to help customize the software, and implementing the software. This is a great opportunity for a pre-sales software engineer or someone out of a consulting firm who is looking to move internal with a startup company that has strong funding and consistent growth.
Required Skills:
Experience with HTTP requests and JSON
Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash
Knowledge of SQL queries and coding/scripting
Experience with coding in Python
Familiarity with search technologies like Solr, Lucene, and Elasticsearch
Extensive experience in a pre-sales software role with client facing/ software demo experience
Detail-oriented and proactive
Very strong communication skills are a must
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the Microsoft 365 technology stack, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Azure Cloud
Knowledge of data/info governance such as GDPR (EU) or CCPA (CA, USA)
Familiarity with data classification and governance tools such as Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), IBM InfoSphereOptim, Varonis Data Security platform, Spirion data privacy or other platforms that help organizations remediate sensitive information such as Personal Identifiable Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI)
Proficiency with database management tools such as pgAdmin
Experience working with Kubernetes tools such as K9s
Target salary: 125-160k base + Bonus (can flex higher for a candidate that has 10/10 of the required skills)

Location: 100% remote - east coast hours preferred, the team meets in person 2-3 times per year, so very minimal travel is required
- Candidates with IT operations backgrounds within Networking, Servers and storage will not be the right fit for this position, unfortunately.
