What You’ll Be Doing:
This position works to ensure that Evolent’s day to day operations comply with local, state and federal laws, rules, and regulations, and will be responsible for research and analysis of both federal and state regulations/laws supporting state insurance regulations, as well as Medicare and Medicaid contracting to support business and client operations. This individual will provide documentation and recommendations on critical business operations and issues from the state and federal regulations. This position reports to the Senior Director, Compliance.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research, analysis and distribution of HPMS Memos on a daily basis
  • Conduct research and analysis of CMS Bulletins, CMS Newsroom, and Federal Register
  • Compile information on emerging trends and government priorities and provide regular updates to the Senior Director, Compliance
  • Evaluate regulatory information and provide recommendations on business processes to meet the requirements and reduce risk of non-compliance
  • Support Medicare Operations in day-to-day resolution of issues of non-compliance
  • Support Medicare Operations in CMS or other regulatory audits as required
  • Review policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Medicare program. Provide recommendations as needed
  • Represent compliance team during ongoing operational forums
The Experience We Prefer:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medicare compliance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of the health care business and health care delivery process
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Technical Requirements:
Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is $50,000, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
