  • This position is responsible for the direct management of a territory comprised of established corporate accounts.

Salary range for this position is $58,348.16 - $95,478.89. Final offer amount will be determined based on your previous experience in relation to this role.

What you'll do

  • Some travel (including international) is required and attendance representing AA at various sponsored events for client entertainment
  • Supports development and execution of sales strategies to demonstrate the value proposition of American and partners with customers
  • Focus on customer accountability and delivery of fulfillment of contractual goals to ensure AA profitability metrics are achieved
  • Analyzes multiple internaldata streams, customer and TMC (Travel Management Company) reporting, and industry media in support of AA corporate programs to ensure fulfilment of AA and customer goals
  • Conducts recurring business reviews, proactive and reactive correspondence, and documentation of efforts in established CRM tool
  • Develops, documents, and implements call plans and focused strategies for each assigned account in support of fulfilment goals
  • Attends industry functions to represent American within the business community

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
  • Prior sales or marketing experience required with proven ability to close sales
  • 3 years work experience


Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Background and familiarity with managed corporate travel programs
  • Understanding of relationship between TMC’s and managed corporate travel programs


Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Above average analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Internet searches
  • Must possess drive and enthusiasm to succeed in an autonomous entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to interact with various levels of management throughout American Airlines and in the corporate business environment
  • Ability to operate in a highly competitive, demanding environment
