Island Therapies is a multidisciplinary therapeutic center that is located in Long Island, NY. A program under Liberty POST, Island Therapies offers a holistic team approach using a variety of interventions for children including Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), Speech/Language Pathology, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Special Education and Assessment based on each child’s individual needs.
Island Therapies is currently seeking to hire experienced Speech Therapists to work primarily in Suffolk County with some cases in Eastern Nassau. We are looking for energetic and devoted Speech Language Pathologists to join our multidisciplinary team servicing children through NYS Early Intervention, CPSE, CSE and Insurance. As a team member you will have an opportunity to work with knowledgeable, experienced and dedicated colleagues with full administrative support.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech therapy sessions for children with various diagnoses (ex: ASD, Dysphagia, Apraxia, etc.).
• Conduct speech evaluations
• Provide center-based and/or home based services.
• Knowledge of MS Word and comfortable with working with computers and databases.
• A valid driver's license and proof of car insurance.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Speech Therapist in the State of New York
• Knowledge of New York State laws/regulations in regards to Speech/Language Pathology
• Minimum two years of experience working with children in therapy and conducting evaluations preferred
• A valid driver's license and proof of car insurance.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
