As a Sports Manager, you will be a senior member of the team and will be involved in areas ranging from reviewing and maintaining the sports management framework for the organisation among other duties.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the team of Senior Sports Executives and Sports Executives

2. Collate sports reports and present them at Board meetings

3. Lead liaison relations with sponsors sponsoring SO athletes/teams participating in local & overseas competitions

4. Promote all SOSG sports programs and competitions to achieve higher level of participation

5. Evaluate performance of various sports programs implemented against the agreement with Sport Singapore

6. Conduct feedback sessions with coaches, athletes, volunteers and parents to better promote the various programs

7. Liaise with relevant parties on the participation for overseas competitions and provide the necessary administrative support

8. Liaise with organising committees for various local competitions

9. Conduct coaching and officiating workforce capacity assessments, and develop annual sports workforce training plans based on programmatic needs

10. Work closely with SOAP (Special Olympics Asia Pacific) Sports Team to develop Coaching and Officiating Workforce Training aligned to measurable quality standards in the Regional Coaching Framework

11. Build relationships with National Governing Sports Bodies and establish partnerships when possible to engage the NSA’s for trainings, management and enhancement of sports

12. Ensure Sports Rules and Competitions are in compliance with SOI Sports and Competition Rules

13. Attend regional and international Special Olympics conferences held by SOI or by Regional Leadership Councils.
