As the Operations Central Team (OCT) Manufacturing Technical-Support Engineering (MTE) Pump, Abatement and Chiller (PAC) Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for facilitating and drive improvement on Micron PAC engineering globally, executing global business processes, and enabling the leverage of world-wide resources to deliver industry benchmark methods. And you are also responsible for overseeing activities to achieve the Best in Class (BIC) PAC performance across the network and industry. You are also expected to work closely with the sites to identify areas of opportunities and analyze their performance-to-plan data, including continue improving the overall Micron PAC performance and execution to meet project timelines. You must also be willing and capable of international travel, as needed, to accomplish your objectives.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Manage and continuously improve the PAC business processes, continual improvement project and BKM alignment
• Facilitate and drive global peer groups to ensure alignment on strategy and roadmap to achieve area objectives; monitor peer group benefits through metrics with clear line of sight to strategic objectives and drive alignment to demonstrate performance improvement; track alignment decisions and hold accountability to those decisions in cases where sites deviate from the roadmap/path defined; ensure best methods sharing spans across all sites regardless of technology and/or site mission differences
• Review and manage current Micron Sites PAC performance, identify gaps and opportunities to achieve BIC performance
• Lead PAC alignment and improvement to meet Micron PAC objectives, including align procedures and define requirements based on technical assessment and lesson learns, to ensure business procedure are aligned across Micron manufacturing sites.
• Drive continuous improvement in multiple aspects such as safety, capex, opex, equipment performance, sustainability, new technology introduction, first of a kind tool enablement and etc.
• Engaging suppliers for Continuously exploring market BIC PAC best practices and optimization method information.
• Develop and revise Micron PAC Documentations when is needed, to include PAC specification, PAC configuration, related process qualification data and update facilities utilities requirement.

Project Management

• Prioritize and manage multiple projects based on Fab and corporate objectives.
• Motivate stakeholders and all project team members to take ownership of project and its successes.
• Manage priorities and enhancements to improve business processes and existing systems that are global in nature.
• Define metrics to gauge project success and Promote worldwide sharing and transfer of area-specific domain knowledge.
• Communicate and respond to issues in a timely manner, with a cadence appropriate to the priority of the issue.
• Keep stakeholders and team members informed of project status, progress, and roadblocks/opportunities.
• Organize and utilize time and resources effectively.
• Constantly evaluate self, approach and goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor and 3 years of relevant experience
