We are seeking a talented Sr. PHP Developer (Remote) to join our team to help support and facilitate our growth and expansion of services.

Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, but also be able to translate data into action for a fast-paced firm experiencing rapid transformation. Possessing a curious mindset, this critical hire will develop recommendations that influence all parts of the organization including Commercial, Financial and the overall Customer Journey. Working remotely, the individual will have the opportunity to work and engage with the organization, including the C-suite.

Responsibilities:

• Understand business domain, analyze requirements, evaluate options, and participate in scoping and sizing activities
• Design, develop code, tests and maintain code for online application releases
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members including vendor partner teams
• Effectively participate in the technology proof-of-concepts and learn new technologies and frameworks
• Understand and enhance coding guidelines and participate in code review processes
• Collaborate with Product, QA team and Production Support team to ensure project alignment

What You Will Need to be Successful

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in PHP enterprise applications including serverless and Web services, UI frameworks (JavaScript, Angular 2+, ReactJS etc.)
• 5+ years of relevant experience with Larvel
• Excellent programming skills and strong problem solving and analytical skills
• In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle required with a focus on Agile
• Experience with AWS Cloud Solutions
• Familiarity with .NET and willingness to expand on the .NET Framework.
• Relational database and strong SQL development experience required; Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, Experience with No-SQL database like DynamoDB
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to present complex ideas and document in a clear and concise way
