The Senior Sourcing Supplier Reporting Analyst will help create, deploy, and maintain tools and reports for Sourcing leaders and team members, to help improve supplier performance throughout our processes and provide insights into opportunities to improve financial outcomes through strategic supplier partnerships. You will report to the Manager, Sourcing Supplier Analytics. Hybrid work arrangement requiring to work 60% in the office (3 days per week) from either our Lake Forest, IL office or downtown Chicago office at the Merchandise Mart.

• Help create and maintain a Supplier Selection Tool, using data across multiple systems for a tool to be used by all team members responsible for quote execution.
• Develop and maintain Supplier Performance Metrics, creating dashboards or other means for team members to self-serve and share metrics with strategic suppliers.
• Engage with Sourcing leadership team and partners to understand current challenges and needs, evaluate, and analyze existing processes, identify problems and opportunities for improvement, and formulate hypotheses on potential solutions.
• Support Sourcing Operations and Sourcing Supplier Partnerships teams on continuous improvement opportunities, using data to inform project opportunities and success measures.
• Lead the effort of identifying, gathering, and analyzing information to test and further hypotheses and ensure fact-based decision-making throughout the Sourcing organization.
• Perform ad hoc analytics to support strategy development and operations while also communicating findings and developing recommendations to leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field or relevant experience
• 3+ years experience solving diverse and complex business problems.
• Advance technical experience of the concepts and be advanced in the use of computerized data warehouse systems including SAP, Teradata, SQL Server, PowerBi, Snowflake, Citizen Developer - PowerApps, Microsoft Suite, Smartsheets or other tools.
