What you will do:

The Staff Accountant position will assist in a variety of accounting functions including AP, AR, Journal Entries, GL Account Reconciliation, month end, ERP implementation, audit prep, special projects, and other accounting and administrative functions as needed. Seeking a self-starter, detail orientated individual who is organized and with strong prioritization skills.

• General accounting duties in a corporate office environment
• Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and GL reconciliation
• Codes invoices and setup new accounts
• Maintains the general ledger
• Month end prep
• Audit prep
• Prepares and reviews monthly financial statements
• Prepares special projects as directed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3-5 years’ experience in general accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary. Sales tax experience a plus.

Starting Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.
