The California Department of Social Services' (CDSS) Family Engagement & Empowerment Division is recruiting for a Staff Services Analyst (SSA).

As a Staff Services Analyst, the policy analyst will be involved in process improvement— analyzing program policy and legislative bills using a whole-family lens to make sound and equitable policy for families utilizing the CalWORKs program. CalWORKS provides economic and whole-family centered support to eligible families to improve child and family well-being. The analyst will have the opportunity to work with a diverse, dynamic team of analysts, managers, county partners and advocates to provide guidance and interpretation of statutes and regulations.
