We are a 5-star rated Hospital and voted 2022’s Best of the Mid-Valley for Best Hospital, Best Place to Have a Baby, and Best Surgery Center!We are seeking a dedicated and experienced [Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician-SPDT] to enhance our healthcare team of innovative leaders.Santiam Hospital & Clinics is an independent, not-for-profit, 40-bed acute-care community-based hospital with 13 clinics across eight specialties settled in the foothills of the Cascades serving many recreational sites as well as agricultural communities. We are an ever growing, progressive, up-to-date healthcare facility that is proud to serve our community and care for our friends and neighbors, ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered.Compensation: $21.25 – 28.50Job Summary: This is a full time eight-hour day-shift position, Monday through Friday.Department Description: Sterile Processing services are incorporated within the larger Surgical Services Department. You would join a great team of people to work with. Everyone’s position within the department are equally important and valued—you will find everyone supporting a family atmosphere internally and with your life outside. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Efficiently, appropriately, and competently decontaminate, disinfect, inspected, package, sterilized, store, and distribute equipment used in the surgical field in accord with applicable manufacturer recommendation, surgical services department policy, and applicable federal and state law.
