Job Summary:

The Strategy Analyst supports the development and implementation of strategy and business development activities for the Americas. This position will perform a variety of activities to drive growth.


Job Duties:

  • Work closely with Commercial teams and Business Development colleagues to analyze plans for market penetration and value proposition for selling new products.
  • Review opportunities to commercialize existing Trivium products into new market segments and lead customer and market research to validate hypotheses.
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support for large business development opportunities across the Americas.
  • Support execution and implementation of strategic initiatives and special projects
  • Leverage market and competitive intel to support commercial needs and provide details on untapped opportunities.
  • Work closely with R&D teams to assess feasibility of new products identified from market research.
  • Provide R&D with research, data and market, customer, and consumer insights to inform product development objectives / projects.
  • Work with BU leaders to identify improvement opportunities and proactively propose new initiatives; establish role as a thought leader within the BUs.
  • Build out customer-ready presentations for different Trivium products, topics, market segments and geographies.
  • Work across all functions and geographies to coordinate special projects, strategic initiatives, and commercial opportunities
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Economics, Business, or other quantitative field of study.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ work experience.
  • Experience in packaging or industrials is helpful, but not required.
  • Growth-focused background (marketing, strategy, commercial excellence, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills – comfortable working with numbers and synthesizing data. Skilled at working with Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive and comfortable working independently
  • Highly organized and able to manage a project independently.
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills (including PPTX).

Work Environment:

Employee must be able to travel by various forms of transportation, most frequently car and airplane, to visit customers face to face. May require long period of time sitting while traveling.The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. May be required to lift larger amounts when traveling (i.e., luggage). The noise level in the work environment will vary by location but is usually moderate.
